The GYDUP Story

You don't always need a tour guide. Sometimes you just need someone local.

Founded in Chandigarh by Preeti Grace, GYDUP was born from a simple belief: exploring India for the first time should feel like visiting a friend, not navigating an obstacle course.

A Note From Preeti

Why I started GYDUP for travelers arriving in India

Hi, I'm Preeti. When international friends first arrive in Chandigarh or Panchkula, they often tell me how breathtaking India is—and how overwhelming the first afternoon can feel. The language differences, the bustling markets, and figuring out local transport all at once can test anyone's patience.

I didn't start GYDUP to give memorized monument lectures or herd groups onto tour buses. I started it so you could have a trusted local ally right by your side. Someone to help you order the best chai, translate street-side conversations, and turn an intimidating new city into an approachable, joyful neighborhood walk.

Our Core Belief

We don't do megaphones or scripted museum routes; we explore vibrant street markets, find the quietest cafés, and help you experience India on human terms.
